JUICY COUTURE BAT MITZVAH AT THE W HOTEL HOLLYWOOD
This was one fantastic party for Jamie Clare who happens to have the same initials as Juicy Couture.
So, we took the logo, the colors and Hollywood location and ran with it!
Guests were greeted with a red carpet entrance with a custom Step and Repeat backdrop. In place of velvet ropes and stantions we created chains of giant Juicy Couture charm bracelets.
A Joan Rivers look alike greeted guests as paparazzi shoved in to get the perfect photo.
Guests wrote notes of congratulations on a pink rhinestone studded dress form which Jamie took home.
For the buffets, we were inspired by the Juicy Couture crest to create four foot tall moss topiaries of the Scottie dogs. The dogs had large pink crystal diamond eyes, pink rhinestone collars and monogrammed heart dog tags.
The center of the ballroom was designed with a large round glossy white dance floor with a custom embossed gold monogram in the center.
Three large photos behind the stage were framed with hand-made sculpted paper flowers in white and pink flanked by two gogo cages with floral caps.
The centerpieces for the adult dining tables were a collection of giant floral perfume bottles and floral pillows topped with crowns.
Around the base of the bottles, we placed clusters of gardenias and heavy crystal votives. The white leather booth tables were fitted with matte pink sequin linens. Following the Juicy Couture look, we set the table with gold flatware, gold beaded glass chargers and gold rimmed crystal.
A Café au Lait dinner plate dahlia was placed on each blossom pink iridescent dupioni napkin.
Even the Challah table was “blinged out” with a pink rhinestone base.
The kids had a special area of stunning new lounge furniture covered in white patent leather with soaring golden Manzanita trees draped with giant pearls and spheres of roses overhead.
The candy bar featured Jamie’s favorites, Oreo cookies, pink candies and black licorice Scottie dogs.
As always, it was great working with Evie Steinberg and many thanks to Michael Brannigan for capturing the fantastic evening so well.
